Capricorn rough cut
Here’s a rough cut of Capricorn (sans melody) with a beat Erik built over my multiphonic chorus. One feature of the Capricorn melody that I really like is the implied metric modulations created by some of the triplets and repeated dotted-quarters. I wanted that to be emphasized since I’m into that kind of thing. Erik’s solution was to call attention to these areas through the bass drum. Check it out:
